Copper Wire Thefts Continue

Thieves continue to steal copper wire running underground used to power several street lights throughout the community. Since July of last year, 15 thefts of this nature have taken place at a cost of over $56,000 to the City. Chino Police Officers suspect the wiring is being sold for scrap.
